The Probability of the Moment
Multiply impossible, by impossible.
I wrote an article over a year ago titled “Crystal Clear: How Significant Is 2,685,000 Zeroes?” and in the article, we talked about how the chances of you existing are so extremely small, that it might as well be an impossible event.
I recently brought up this topic once again over a few days ago and reminded people about how special we all are because of how unlikely it is for us to be alive. You know, for our ancestors to have all met up, hooked up, decided to have kids, you were the fastest swimmer to get to the egg, etc.
So I think at this point, we understand how amazing it is for us to be alive, and what a gift that is: the gift of life.
But what if we took it a step further, and analyzed the probability of the moment?
What do I mean by this? Well, let’s start off with how I got the idea for this article.
