Us vs. Them Is Really Us vs. Us
With counterproductive bickering, nobody wins
So I happened upon a couple TikTok videos that collectively inspired me to write about this topic: there seems to be some “men vs. women” sentiment going around, and while I know there’s always been a bit of that in the world, I feel more compelled to talk about it strongly now.
One of the videos was one of many of the similar theme of many women being able to place their forehead against a wall, pull a chair up to their chest, and then be able to stand up from that position. This is because women generally have lower centers of gravity than men.
Some women have used this to propel the argument that “women are better than men.” How profound.
Another one of the videos I saw was this girl standing with a guy and she demonstrated that she was able to interlock her fingers and maneuver her arms in a difficult way, and yet was still able to fit her head through a hole she formed with her arms. The guy standing next to her attempted to do so and was unable to follow.
The whole time, she was laughing in a mocking way about how “guys can’t do this,”…
