This sentence is actually quite interesting and motivating at the same time, but the article as a whole is also a great read. You've definitely listed a lot of the cliche advice given on Medium, some of which I've even echoed myself.

It was surprisingly a breath of fresh air to see how a writer can still succeed here while not following the conventional advice that is spread and encouraged. It always helps to get some perspective from the other side.

I have a question. I look back at my old articles and some of them have done pretty well in terms of viewership compared to my more recent, better-quality articles. They might do better if I touched them up a bit though. Would you recommend that writers go back to edit old articles to make them better, or to leave them as is?
