The Past, But Not Perpetuity

This topic is going to be a little out-of-the-ordinary, in the sense that while I know what the better course of action to take is in a particular circumstance, I still struggle with tending to go with the worse of paths to take.

In other words, I’m still in the process of practicing what I preach, when it comes to this particular matter.

Have you ever harbored a grudge against someone? Or judged someone for how they behaved over a period of time and considered that was all there was to them?

If so, I can completely relate. In fact, this is something that I still struggle with myself currently.

Probably contrary to popular belief, my patience with people tends to lean more thin, than thick. And I place a lot of importance on first impressions.

Those two qualities coupled together lead to a very common occurrence:

If I determine that I don’t like someone within the first few moments of meeting them or hearing about them, then I don’t even bother trying to build a serious connection.
