(Before proceeding, I invite you to leave a comment or DM me on social media telling me what *you* think is the greatest failure of mankind. If you disagree on what follows, DM me all the same. I always invite a healthy exchange of ideas.)

Let’s get this out of the way: by no means is my viewpoint “factually” the greatest failure of mankind. I don’t think there even is such a thing, as we all base failures on different things. To some, “failing” means not being rich. To others, it means not being laid.

So without further ado, let’s address the elephant in the room.

I firmly believe that the greatest failure of mankind is us failing to live up to our greatest potential.

I’m not sure why this idea has been occupying the front of my mind for the past two days and I don’t know what sparked this thought, but I’m glad it did, because now I can deliver on a message; a message to live up to our greatest potential.
