That is a powerful story, and I thank you for sharing it.

You have a great heart, Mister Joe. I am not so sure I wouldn't have pressed charges. I'm an empathetic person, but I also have little tolerance for injustice and unprovoked wrongdoings. Even when I almost became homeless myself, the thought of stealing never crossed my mint yd.

I've had someone help me the way you helped that guy, and although the person who helped me and I are no longer in touch, I can assure you that your kindness has not gone unnoticed. I recognize very much what was done for me.

It is a shame that he kept returning to his life of crime. This is a good example of why I talk about self-improvement so much – if we get stuck in our old ways, we only do ourselves a disservice, and this can affect those around us.

I'm happy that you were able to still have that experience and not regret it, even if the outcome of it wasn't optimal. This story also reminds me that in the end, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. You brought him to the water, but he consistently chose not to drink.

Thank you for changing this man's world, Mister Joe. That was a really wonderful thing you did.
