I know this is something that many people struggle with, so let me say this:

Please don’t ever feel insignificant and worthless. Whether you realize it or not, you are capable of catalyzing change.

If you read the article “To Blindly Accept Injustice Is to Support It” that I wrote a while ago, you’d remember my frustrations with the mentality of, “Oh that’s just the way the world is, and therefore I can’t do anything about it.” This is something that I’m still trying to actively combat.

Too many of us don’t realize how much influence we actually have. Regardless of how many followers you have on social media, you have a voice, and you have the potential and ability to reach out to other people and touch their lives.

You only have five followers? Good, start with them. They followed you for a reason.
You “only” have 1,000 followers? Even better, talk to them. They’re tuning in.
