Powerful and spot-on, Wesley. We should create with confidence, not meekly proffer content, uncertain that what we produce is potentially illegitimate because no one asked for it.

On the other hand, just like you said, you need to be thoughtful and intentional with what you create. Create with confidence, but this doesn't mean go screaming into a microphone for 30 seconds, upload that, and give yourself a pat on the back.

Hot take: Not all content that is created with confidence deserves praise. Especially with respect to video content, some people out there do ridiculous things that inconvenience and disturb others, they film it, and they share it with the world hoping to go viral or get some form of validation. And sure, while there may be an audience who would consider that "entertainment," I argue that such content has no value or place online.
