For the past couple of weeks, I have been struggling with maintaining my own motivation to produce content.

I used to have the energy and drive to record a podcast episode and write an article every weekday, but now I’ve cut it down to 3 episodes and articles a week.

I used to post a lot more frequently on Instagram, but now I’m trying to maintain posting even once a day.

I cannot deny that things are slowing down from my end, and for that, I apologize. I’m going through a period of a lack of motivation, which may sound ironic coming from a motivational speaker, but I’m only human.

Then again, I shouldn’t be making excuses, and here’s why.

One of my great role models, Gary Vaynerchuk, spoke into the abyss several days a week for 6 years before he started getting an audience.

Yep, you read that right.

When Gary was starting out Wine Library TV for his dad’s liquor business, he had no audience, and yet made several episodes a week for 6 years before anyone paid him any attention.
