Have you ever crumbled when someone walked out of your life? Ever break down when you lost a possession?

What if I told you that not everything you lose is a loss, and that some things disappear for great reasons?

As I always like to do, let’s run through a couple examples.

An abusive relationship.

Whether it’s your toxic boyfriend or your controlling and dictatorial parents, staying in such relationships are not healthy for you.

And while I know it’s easier said than done, walking away is your best bet.

But I want you to know that in doing so, while you lose the relationship and eject those people out of your life, you haven’t suffered a loss.

Here’s why.

In leaving your toxic boyfriend, you’re walking away from a constant feed of negativity. Keeping him means having somebody who’s supposed to love you constantly criticize you and make you feel bad.
