I actually disagree with this. Personally, when I talk about the importance of me leaving a legacy, it's not about me or the idea of people thinking about me after I'm gone. It's about the messages and ideas I leave behind, and how they can benefit people who read my content after I cease to create it.

I started my content creation journey on a completely anonymous page where nobody knew my name or face. I purposefully made it that way because I've always firmly believed that ideas stand for more than just a single man. Ideas outlast skin and bone. I want to create content revolving around meaningful ideas that people can extract value from.

I don't have an ego that has me wanting to have people thinking about me after I'm gone. In the end, people reading what I wrote and being able to better their lives through my content is what I care about.
