There was once a time when I was lacking much confidence when it came to approaching and asking out attractive ladies.

I’d be walking down the street one day and see someone really attractive whom I wanted a chance to go out with, but my fear of failure and rejection gripped me and I shut down.

I’d spot a pretty girl standing by herself or sipping a coffee all alone somewhere and I longed to start a conversation with her, but doubts and insecurities flooded my mind.

“You’d probably scare her off,” my mind would jeer.

“She’s probably going to say no, so don’t bother her,” my thoughts would mock.
