Don’t Lose Your Faith
Don’t let a few bad apples give the rest a bad name.
I was browsing through TikTok today and I came across a video of people on a freeway who all stopped for and helped rescue a dog that was fearfully running around for its life amidst all the vehicles.
These cars, although on a freeway, managed to somehow form a circle around the dog, and the drivers all got out to corner the dog and get a hold of its leash so that they could rescue the dog. The video ends there.
I’m feeling pretty good and happy about seeing people do good out there, when I stumble upon this comment:
“Imagine living in a place where people would actually take the time out of their day to help another person or animal.”
Miss, you don’t have to imagine. The place you seek is all around you.
One thing that interestingly acts both as a pet peeve and as something that saddens me is when people have a really pessimistic outlook on humanity.
- “I’ve lost all faith in humanity.”
- “This world should burn.”
- “I hate people. Like, everyone.”
