A powerful article to encourage people to embrace their individuality, and I do like it. I wasn't aware that you had done kickboxing and competed in matches – who needs Mortal Kombat when you can do the real thing, right?
I would, in my small real estate that is my comment, however, like to add one more thing to this topic. Fitting in, as you said, is overrated, and people should embrace being themselves.
However, I think some people take this ideology to an extreme and think "being myself" is an excuse to "be absolutely anything," including being a nuisance. And when they get called out for their disruptive and inappropriate behavior, their defense is that they are "being themselves" and are thus immune to the rules.
I think I'm gonna write my next article about that, so thank you Wesley. But yeah. Be yourself, but check yourself at the same time. That's what I say.
